Ricky Jaime is from Miami, Fl with a Venezuelan and Haitian background. He knows he was put on earth to motivate, inspire, and heal not just himself but others. Ricky began to dance different styles at the age of 9 and has not stopped. Before becoming an adult, he was a part of various dance troupes and danced for the NBA's Miami Heat Jr. Jam. Soon after graduating from Newsome High School in Lithia, Fl. He was accepted to Columbia College Chicago for his Bachelors of Arts. In 2011, he sought an opportunity to audition for the Fox TV Show So You Think You Can Dance. Jaime went to attain his dreams after making it into the Top 20 dancers of the show. Eventually, he placed top 3 boys on the semi finals of his season. The TV show was a catalyst for Ricky to move to sunny SoCal and work as a professional dancer.
While residing in LA, he was introduced to Yoga and immediately admired the physical and spiritual benefits. He took advantage of all the resources LA offered him. Which resulted to a re-focus in his career. Ricky got the opportunity to work for numerous gyms such as SoulCycle, LIT Method and RiseNation all in West Hollywood. As his career navigated through leading group fitness classes, he decided he wanted more fitness credibility and knowledge. In the summer of 2018, he attended the National Personal Training Institute in Santa Monica. After graduating from this program, while balancing instructing at different studios. Jaime passed his course to become a certified Personal Trainer from The National Academy of Sports Medicine. With this certification he wishes to keep his continued education in fitness. Ricky's next goal is to establish his tribe of humans willing to fight life with him through fitness, sweat and absolute pure rawness.
